In its commitment to inclusivity, Bayview Hospital is pleased to launch its new non-emergency patient shuttle service. Equipped with a rear accessibility ramp for wheelchair users, the shuttle ensures that all patients can easily access the St Paul’s Avenue private facility.
Marilyn Patrick, Bayview’s Assistant Administrator, is pleased to offer Barbadians this new and improved service. She believed it’s a significant step towards creating a more inclusive healthcare system and aims to alleviate the transportation challenges many patients face.
“The addition of the Bayview shuttle will assist wheelchair users, the elderly, and others with mobility challenges in readily accessing the services at Bayview. With the launch of the Urgent Care department in a few months, patients in need of non-emergency treatment can rely on the shuttle’s service for transportation.“
To schedule a booking, persons are encouraged to contact the hospital directly at (246) 436-5446 or email [email protected]. The Bayview Hospital team is ready to assist you.
Please note, prices may vary depending on the length of the journey.
